FAQs
Exchange and refunds
All artwork and prints sale are final. There are no refunds or exchanges on purchased art and prints. If you would like to see more images of the original artwork, before purchasing it, please send an email at hello@kanchanmehendale.com.
The top priority for the artist is to provide all her collectors and clients with an artwork or print that they are delighted with. She personally handles all sales and commission orders, and ensures there is complete transparency. Please take the time to read each painting description carefully.
The artist cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged items. Shipments for original artworks are insured. In the rare occurrence of a lost or damaged shipment, please email the artist at hello@kanchanmehendale.com, about the damaged or lost items within 30 days of shipment to file a claim for reimbursement.
All shipping charges are non-refundable and all return shipping cost due to damage are the responsibility of the buyer. We recommend all damaged goods be returned for repair, and insured with a tracking number. Please email at hello@kanchanmehendale.com if you are returning a damaged item.
Colours
All efforts have been made to photograph this painting and represent it true to life, however the colours may vary slightly in person owing to light conditions. Also, screen resolutions can ultimately affect how we perceive colour on a monitor, laptop, or phone and images sometimes differ depending on monitor settings. It is advised to view any artwork on multiple devices.
Are original paintings shipped ready to hang?
– Within Singapore
• Acrylic or oil paintings on canvas are available stretched, ready to hang.
• Watercolour paintings are not framed for all destinations, including Singapore.
• Shipping and insurance costs (if any), are borne by the buyer.
– Outside Singapore
• All paintings (acrylic, oil, and watercolour) will be shipped in a rolled condition in a sturdy dent-resistant mailing tube for
destinations outside Singapore. This will ensure that shipping costs to the buyer are minimal, and the painting is delivered
damage free.
• Shipping and insurance costs (if any), are borne by the buyer.
Are original paintings framed?
– Within Singapore
• Acrylic or oil paintings on canvas are not framed. They are stretched and ready to hang.
• Watercolour paintings are not framed for all destinations, including Singapore. The artist can assist you with information regarding
framers in Singapore as well as provide guidance for framing.
• The artist can also get the painting framed for the buyer. Framing costs are borne by the buyer.
– Outside Singapore
For destinations outside Singapore, paintings (acrylic, oil, and watercolour) will not be framed, they will be shipped in a rolled
condition in a sturdy dent-resistant mailing tube.
Print Options
– Within Singapore
You can order prints on textured fine art paper (unframed) or canvas (unstretched – in a rolled condition, stretched, or framed).
Canvas print frames are available in black, dark brown, ash pine and white colours.
– Outside Singapore
You can order prints on textured fine art paper and canvas. Both will be shipped in a rolled condition in a sturdy dent-resistant
mailing tube for destinations outside Singapore. This will ensure that shipping costs to the buyer are minimal, and the print is
delivered damage free.
Textured paper prints
Paper prints are on textured, acid free and archival fine art paper (300 gsm) of professional quality. It is museum-grade, using
pigment-based inks which are certified, archival inks.
Canvas prints
These prints are on superior quality archival canvas, using genuine pigment inks that are guaranteed to remain vibrant for at least
25 years. Each canvas print is sprayed with two coats of a protective laminate, an essential step that ensures the canvas print lasts
as long as possible.

Payment for commissioned paintings
The artist takes 50% advance for a commissioned painting and balance is payable on completion. Payment can be made via bank transfer, Paylah or Paynow within Singapore, and via bank transfer outside of Singapore.
Delivery & framing for commissioned paintings
– Within Singapore • Acrylic or oil paintings on canvas are available stretched, ready to hang within Singapore. • Watercolour paintings are not framed for all destinations, including Singapore. • The artist can assist you with information regarding framers in Singapore as well as guidance for framing. • The artist can also get the painting framed for the buyer. Can the artist advise for and create art for a Gallery wall?
Yes, the artist can guide the client on themes, sizes and different framing ideas to create an eye catching gallery wall that will tell a story or highlight their experiences and personality. A gallery wall can entrall it’s viewers and be the focal discussion point in a room. It can be made with original artworks or prints.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
The artist retains all rights to all artworks she creates, including commissioned paintings, for reproduction, prints and NFTs. She retains the right to make reproductions of any and all artwork she creates unless the client has purchased the full or partial rights to the artwork (this is in addition to purchasing the original). Please contact the artist if you are interested in purchasing full or additional partial rights to your painting. Some clients choose to purchase the artist’s right to reproduce the artwork and the same can be discussed with the artist. The client may not reproduce the artist’s artwork in any way without written permission from the artist. If the artwork is showcased in a magazine or other media as a part of home / office decor, do remember to give credit to the artist! All payments are to be made in full before an original artwork or print is shipped. All shipping, insurance and other logistic costs are borne by the buyer. All customs duties and any other levies and taxes are borne by the buyer.
