Sri Mariamman Temple

Sri Mariamman Temple is the oldest Hindu temple in Singapore, located in the heart of Chinatown. Its façade is a riot of colours, adorned with a stunning array of intricate sculptures depicting a pantheon of deities and mythological figures, each meticulously crafted to tell a story of devotion and culture. As you step through the grand entrance, you are welcomed by a kaleidoscope of hues. The ornate gopuram / tower, rises majestically above, drawing the eye upward in a reverent gaze. The air is thick with the fragrant aroma of jasmine and incense, mingling with the sounds of bells and soft chants that resonate in the sacred space.
